What the agency does

Short answer, then the numbers

Piste Dossier is a Kyiv-based ski trip planning agency. We build a written dossier around your group: resort facilities that suit the skiers and non-skiers travelling with you, accommodation matched to your preferences, trip length, budget and the activities you actually want. We plan and administer the booking. The travel contract is issued by the accommodation provider or operator named in the dossier.

03 / Process

How the plan is built

Constraints in, confirmed transfers out

  1. Constraints captured

You send the group size, dates, travel duration, whether you drive or fly, and how many people in the group actually ski. Non-skiers get counted separately from the first message, not after the resort is chosen.

    Six-field brief

  2. Resorts filtered

Every facility sheet carries numeric values: skiable kilometres, lift count, the blue-red-black split, snowmaking coverage and the month it was inspected. Resorts that fail your constraints are removed before accommodation is discussed.

    Five to eight sheets

  3. Accommodation matched

Distance to the lift, ski-in access, kitchen, parking, room split. We match the property to the group and quote it itemised, with the mandatory local tourist tax on its own line rather than folded into a headline price.

    Itemised quote

  4. Activities and transfers confirmed

Ski school hours, equipment rental pickup, off-snow plans for the non-skiers, and realistic transfer times from the nearest station or airport. Everything is fixed in writing in the dossier before any payment is made.

    Confirmed in writing

Planning fees are published figures, not a percentage of the booking: EUR 45 for a dossier only, EUR 90 to EUR 160 when we carry the booking work. Fee logic and inclusions

06 / Practicalities

Season windows, transfers, insurance and rental

Figures below are quoted from supplier terms before any deposit

Season windows
Early season runs 5 to 20 December, standard mid-January to mid-March, peak 27 December to 3 January. Bukovel and Dragobrat hold cover later than Slavske; each resort sheet carries the month it was inspected.
Transfer times
Kyiv to Bukovel: 8 h by road, 640 km. Ivano-Frankivsk airport to Bukovel takes 2 h, Lviv airport to Slavske 2 h 15 min. Private vehicles are priced per car, not per seat.
Insurance
Not bundled into any dossier. We quote a policy covering off-piste days and equipment theft only when the group asks for it, and list the premium as its own line.
Equipment rental
Booked with a shop named in the dossier and fitted on arrival day. Six-day ski or board sets, boots included, are quoted per person alongside lift passes.
Local tourist tax
Charged per person per night by the accommodation provider and shown separately in the total, never folded into the accommodation rate.

Snow is never promised. Cover varies by season, altitude and slope aspect, and can affect lifts, lessons and transfers. Full cost breakdowns sit on the itemised cost sheet.
